Peggy Gupton Leonard, 72, of Louisburg departed this earthly life and transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born on December 26, 1945 to the late Willis and Lessie Gupton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael W. Leonard and her brother, Dwayne Gupton. Peggy owned and operated the Paint Store and Interiors in Louisburg for many years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 at Centerville Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Dickerson and her husband, Eric; her son, Justin Leonard; her grandchildren, Spencer, Logan and Emily Dickerson, Samuel and Isabella Leonard.
