Barbara Tewes Richards, 74 of Youngsville transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home. She was born on February 13, 1943 the daughter of the late Cleo and Earline Calcutt Miles. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Scott and David Fetters. Barbara’s family was her life; she loved helping people, playing bingo and was very crafty. Even though she did not have a green thumb she loved flowers.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Richards Family Cemetery with Reverend Steven Davis officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Richards; sons, Robert Beckham; daughters, Debra Carter (Larry); Danielle Richards (David Rice); nine grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Jacob, Jennifer, Jessica, Tyler, Tanner, Trinity and Josh; sister, Brenda Spain (Bruce).
