Anna Marie Robbins, 64, of Wake Forest passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Transitions LifeCare. She was born in Vance County on June 25, 1953 to the late Frank T. and Annie Jay Thomas Robbins.

Services for Marie will be private, and the family asks that you respect their privacy during this time of grieving.

Marie’s passing was unexpected, even though she had suffered from illness for some time. Marie was a great mom and granny, she loved her family very much and the love was returned equally. She was a warm hearted, happy, compassionate, funny, and loyal friend to all who knew her. She will never be forgotten, she was loved by those that were blessed with her friendship and love.

Marie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Michael Peoples; her granddaughter, McKayla Peoples; sisters, Annette Moore, Ginger O’Learo, and Lisa Stanley; her pet companion, Lana Lain; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Tina wrote this poem about her mother, “There is no love, like a mother’s love. Even when God calls her away that love remains and your heart will always be filled with joyful memories”
